This painting is like a dream of being in Paris and being greeted each moring by a view of the Eiffle Tower. I loved how the ornate iron work of the antique railing blended into the "Modern for that time" ironwork of the tower. The woman is a blend of old and new also. She is obviously a woman of today, but her white linen skirt and her graceful air make her seem as if she is from 100 years ago.
